Welcome back to school! Things certainly look different this year at Eyre.
Construction contractors worked hard over the last few months and made great progress on improvements at Eyre. There’s still a lot of work to be done, however, and our school will be an active construction site until the fall.
Safety is our highest priority at Eyre. It’s very important that staff, students and visitors obey all posted signs, and stay out of the construction zone. Signs, fences, and barriers are in place to make sure the school operates safely and construction progresses as swiftly as possible.
Distracting construction workers can also create a safety hazard. Please allow workers to focus on their jobs to keep themselves and others safe.
Students may notice some noise during construction work. Please remember that construction is temporary and the end results will be worth the inconvenience: Once construction is finished, Eyre will have new classrooms, a new cafeteria and kitchen, a new multipurpose fitness room and many more improvements!
We are grateful to the voters of Salem and Keizer for passing the bond!
